Tally charts help us count and organize information. We make marks to count things!
✏️Reading Tallies
Each line is 1. Every fifth line crosses the other 4 (||||). So |||| means 5, |||| || means 7.
💡Counting Tip
Count the groups of 5 first, then add the extra marks.
