Sides are the straight lines that make a shape. Corners (also called vertices) are where two sides meet.

Triangle: 3 sides, 3 corners. Square: 4 sides, 4 corners. Pentagon: 5 sides, 5 corners. Hexagon: 6 sides, 6 corners.

Circles have no sides and no corners - they are round all the way around!
