   1. Think of 2 groups of 10.
   2. 2 × 10 = 10 + 10
   3. Skip count by 10: 10, 20
   4. The 2nd number is 20.
   5. 2s trick: Just double the number!

   Answer: 20

3. Example 3

   2 × 8 = ?

   1. Think of 2 groups of 8.
   2. 2 × 8 = 8 + 8
   3. Skip count by 8: 8, 16
   4. The 2nd number is 16.
