📖The 8s - Triple Double!
8s are double the 4s, which are double the 2s! For 8 × 7: Start with 2 × 7 = 14. Double: 4 × 7 = 28. Double again: 8 × 7 = 56.
📖The 9s Finger Trick
Hold up 10 fingers. For 9 × 4, put down your 4th finger. Count fingers on the left (3) and right (6). The answer is 36!
💡
For 9s, the digits always add up to 9! 9 × 3 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9. This helps you check your answer.
📖Another 9s Trick
9 is one less than 10. So 9 × 6 = 10 × 6 - 6 = 60 - 6 = 54.
