   Find the volume of a rectangular prism with length 2, width 3, and height 2 units.

   1. Volume = length × width × height.
   2. 2 × 3 = 6 (one layer), then 6 × 2 = 12.
   3. The volume is 12 cubic units.

   Answer: 12

2. Example 2

   Find the volume of a rectangular prism with length 8, width 8, and height 2 units.

   1. Volume = length × width × height.
   2. 8 × 8 = 64 (one layer), then 64 × 2 = 128.
   3. The volume is 128 cubic units.

   Answer: 128

3. Example 3

   Find the volume of a rectangular prism with length 8, width 5, and height 7 units.

   1. Volume = length × width × height.
   2. 8 × 5 = 40 (one layer), then 40 × 7 = 280.
   3. The volume is 280 cubic units.

   Answer: 280
