Math-U-See teaches place value with its color-coded integer blocks—unit cubes in one color, ten-bars in another, hundred-flats in a third—so children literally build the numbers they are learning before they write a single digit. The build-write-say sequence locks the concept in through three channels at once: a child constructs 143 with blocks, writes 143 on paper, and says 'one hundred forty-three' aloud, reinforcing the same idea through hands, eyes, and voice.
