   Find the median of: 6, 10, 10, 10, 12

   1. The numbers are already in order from least to greatest: 6, 10, 10, 10, 12.
   2. There are 5 numbers, so the median is the middle one — the 3rd number: 10.
   3. So the median is 10.

   Answer: 10

2. Example 2

   Find the median of: 3, 11, 13, 15, 17

   1. The numbers are already in order from least to greatest: 3, 11, 13, 15, 17.
   2. There are 5 numbers, so the median is the middle one — the 3rd number: 13.
   3. So the median is 13.

   Answer: 13

3. Example 3

   Find the median of: 2, 3, 5, 6, 19

   1. The numbers are already in order from least to greatest: 2, 3, 5, 6, 19.
   2. There are 5 numbers, so the median is the middle one — the 3rd number: 5.
