1. Example 1

   Find the mean of: 4, 12, 13, 16, 17, 27, 27

   1. Add all the numbers: 4 + 12 + 13 + 16 + 17 + 27 + 27 = 116.
   2. There are 7 numbers, so divide the total by 7: 116 ÷ 7 = 16.571…
   3. Rounded to the nearest hundredth, the mean is 16.57.

   Answer: 16.57

2. Example 2

   Find the mean of: 2, 7, 12, 13, 18, 19, 23

   1. Add all the numbers: 2 + 7 + 12 + 13 + 18 + 19 + 23 = 94.
   2. There are 7 numbers, so divide the total by 7: 94 ÷ 7 = 13.428…
   3. Rounded to the nearest hundredth, the mean is 13.43.

   Answer: 13.43

3. Example 3

   Find the mean of: 11, 11, 12, 16, 18, 26, 29

   1. Add all the numbers: 11 + 11 + 12 + 16 + 18 + 26 + 29 = 123.
   2. There are 7 numbers, so divide the total by 7: 123 ÷ 7 = 17.571…
   3. Rounded to the nearest hundredth, the mean is 17.57.

   Answer: 17.57
